Dr. Simon Shih
Since 2006, Dr. Simon Shih has worked as a full time associate and owner of Peccole Dental here in Las Vegas. He originally obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology at UCLA before moving on to secure his Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1999 at the acclaimed Tufts University in Boston. Dr. Shih then proceeded to receive his postdoctoral education at the Lutheran Medical Center in Latham, New York.
In 1999, Dr. Shih received his first full time associate position at First Advantage Dental in Brattleboro, Vermont. Dr. Shih spent the next five years at First Advantage Dental, where he earned his reputation as very competent family & cosmetic dentist. In 2006, Dr. Shih took his skills to the West Coast where he aquired Peccole Dental. He now proudly servies the community of Las Vegas, offering a wide range of dental services.
Dr. Clarke Moore
Dr. Clark C. Moore has served as a full time associate at Peccole Dental over the past 7 years. Dr. Moore initially pursued his interest in dentistry at the Career Academy Tecnical School in Atlanta. After a brief service in the US Army Dental Corps in 1969, Dr. Moore resumed his studies. in 1972. He went on to attend the University of Louisville, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1980.
After graduation, Dr. Moore managed his dental practice in Burgin, Kentucky. In 1992, Dr. Moore and his family moved to the Las Vegas area. Outside of the office, Dr. Moore and his wife are actively involved at the Canyon Ridge Christian Church and serve as co-leaders for parent/teen development. He also serves as a community health board member and chairman. His well rounded attributes and extensive dental experience make him a great fit at Peccole Dental.
Dr. Kay Funamoto
Dr. Kazumi Funamoto joined the Peccole family in December of 2006 as co-owner and full time dental associate. Dr. Funamoto's impressive credentials include an undergraduate degree in Biology from San Jose State University along with her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University in Boston. Like Dr. Shih, she received her postdoctoral education at the Lutheran Medical Center in Latham, New York.
Dr. Funamoto followed the same path as Dr. Shih, spending 5 years as a full time associate at First Advantage Dental before heading out west to Las Vegas. When she joined Peccole Dental in 2006, Dr. Funamoto brought a long list of accomplishments with her. Today, she proudly serves as a member of the Nevada Dental Association and the Southern Nevada Dental Society.
